This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application CoSpace (hereinafter referred to as the "Application") developed by Libin Pang. We highly value your privacy. Please read the following statement carefully before using the Application.

1. Data Collection and Use

• Local Storage: CoSpace is a local-first application. The vast majority of your data (including expense records, to-do tasks, photos, calendar events, etc.) is securely stored by default on your local iOS device.
• Cloud Sync and Sharing: When you enable multi-device synchronization or use a shared space, your data is transmitted and stored in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) database. We do not have our own private servers, we do not collect, process, or store any of this data, and we cannot access any of your space content.
• Use of Sensitive Permissions:
  • Photo Library: Only used when you actively upload photos to a shared album.
  • Notifications: Only used for local task expiration reminders. We do not collect any personal data through notifications.

2. Data Security

All your cloud-synced data is protected by industry-standard encryption provided by Apple. We will not transfer, share, or disclose your personal information to any third party because we do not hold any of your data in the first place.

3. Updates to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time according to the iteration of application features. Any changes will be posted on this page and become effective immediately. We recommend that you check this page regularly to stay informed about the latest changes.
